Singer Michael Mukwaya better known as Mikie Wine, a brother to opposition strongman Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine, has come out and defended himself on allegations that all his properties including the mansion where he stays were funded by Bobi Wine.

Last year, Mikie shared photos of his fancy house which looks like that of his elder brother Bobi Wine. The photos left so many people wondering how he managed to make it given he’s only 31 years old.

While appearing in an interview on NBS After5 last evening, Mikie revealed that he felt small when he shared his mansion on social media and a number of people commented saying Bobi Wine was the one who gave him money to build such a beautiful home.

Mikie disclosed that Bobi Wine only inspired him to build but he never gave him money to build.

According to Mikie, he knows how to handle money well.

“I just know how to control my finances but Bobi Wine didn’t contribute money to any of the proprieties I own,” Mikie Wine.

He further explained why he is not so active in the music industry.

“Music is my passion and I don’t do it to get money. I’m very calculative at it, that’s why I didn’t release any music in the lockdown while some musicians released them yet they didn’t have food,” he said.
