Former Kawempe South legislator Mubarak Munyagwa has been kidnapped and whisked away in a drone.
Munyagwa is a renowned FDC party cadre and according to the party, he was kidnapped at a gunpoint by a gang of armed men on his way to NBS TV last evening.
“He whisked away in a drone to an unknown destination. We condemn and fight NRM’s political persecution,” said FDC in a tweet.
The reason behind his alleged kidnapped is yet to be known.
Recently, Munyagwa has been castigating the members of the National Unity Platform (NUP) for betraying the ‘struggle’ of Ugandans.
He accused several NUP members of ‘being in bed’ with the regime.
