Lawyer Isaac Ssemakadde has been summoned to appear before the Police Directorate of Criminal Investigation (CID) to record a statement about alleged offensive communication against Justice Musa Ssekaana.

Ssemakadde is required to report to CID headquarters on Monday next week.

The self-proclaimed ‘Legal Rebel’ responded to the summons saying, ‘Dimwits are everywhere’.

The lawyer further said, “Justice Ssekaana will soon get his comeuppance. Others will then learn from him to maintain judicial decorum and respect the sovereignty of the citizen in a constitutional democracy.”

Ssemakadde’s summon came a few hours after his lawyer friend Male Mabirizi was arrested and taken to Jinja Road Police. Mabirizi has been in hiding after he was sentenced to 18 months in jail for contempt of court.
