Gayaza girl Angelina Kyazike rises to the world stage as Apple Engineer, introduces new ipad Air she worked on at Apple Event

Given the right opportunities, Ugandans can rise to the top on the global stage and one such individual is Angelina Kyazike, a former Gayaza High School student who is now the System Engineering Program Manager Apple unveiled the new iPad Air 2022.

Kyazike had the world’s spotlight on her during the Apple Event on Women’s Day, where she unveiled the latest iPad Air, a product she worked on.

Kyazike sat for her A’level from the prestigious girl’s school in 2005 and majored in Physics, Mathematics, Economics, and Art. After Gayaza, Kyazike studied at the University of Evansville where she graduated with  a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering in 2012.

She has previously worked at Whirlpool Corporation as the Senior Analyst, System Integrator, Electrical Engineering for 8 years before joining Apple.

She has been at the helm of Apple operations from December 2020 and was also the System Engineering Program Manager for 2021 Entry iPad.

The news of Kyazike unveiling the latest iPad was met with excitement as Ugandans took it to their social media platforms to shower her with praises.

“Kyazike presenting the latest ipad Air, Uganda represented on the international platform,” posted a one Francis Kavuma.
