An adage goes ‘if you do not have anything nice to say, do not say it’ perhaps this should be adapted to modern life as ‘if you do not have anything nice to tweet, do not tweet it.’

NBS Television news anchor and veteran journalist Simon Kaggwa Njala has been cautioned by his boss Kin Kariisa for allegedly misbehaving on the blue app, Twitter.

Njala, a renowned Democratic Party member and supporter, called Uganda a joke after the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Among Anita, and Chief Justice, Owiny Dollo, flew to the US to check on the bedridden Speaker, Jacob Oulanyah.

“Only the executive is now functioning. Other arms are off to America to check on a patient. My country is a joke.” said Njala in a tweet.

But @SimonKaggwaNjal Njala Njala… Behave please.

Kin Kariisa responded to Njala’s tweet saying, “But Njala Njala… Behave please.”

Kin’s response attracted mixed reactions, with many creating memes about how he shut up Njala.

Njala replied saying; “You all get it wrong here. Kin isn’t being bossy or intrusive. He’s simply a collegial fellow. You guys are used to stiff bosses who only communicate with coercive memos. Mine is cool.”
