Uganda’s She Cranes shooter Stella Oyella has signed a two-year contract with the Scottish University, Strathclyde Sirens.

Oyella, who is not only a netballer but also a basketballer who plays for the JKL Lady Dolphins basketball team, becomes the third Ugandan netball star to play professional netball in the United Kingdom after Mary Nuba and Peace Proscovia, who play for Loughborough Lighting and Surrey Storm respectively.

‘’I’m super excited to work with the Sirens because they are so good, their management has really been encouraging and I have been looking after myself and been interested and looking for me,’’Oyella expressed her joy.
