South Africa’s Robot Boii to headline debut Smirnoff Fiesta

The multitalented South African sensation – Robot Boii – has been confirmed as the headline act for the debut Smirnoff ‘Unleash Your Edge Fiesta’ happening on Wednesday 25th January 2023 at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel.

Smirnoff – a product of Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL) – recently announced a massive return to Kampala’s social scene with the Fiestas that will see the brand travel around the country to deliver upbeat urban music experiences featuring live performances from exciting artists, DJs and entertainers from Uganda, Africa and across the world in addition to cocktail sessions curated by world-class mixologists, unique and fun games and so on.

Robot Boii – the singer, songwriter, producer, dancer, drummer and comedian – is famous for hits and viral dance videos like ‘Salary Salary’ and ‘Oksalayo’ and is expected in the country early next week to bring his unique blend of entertainment Ugandan audiences alongside MCs: Sammy Wetala and Zion Kente; DJs Kash Pro and Thee Ugandan Babe; Etania and Melodic Inversions.

Judie Nandekya, the Smirnoff brand manager said, “Robot Boii represents a generation that embraces all the different and unique ways of expressing oneself through music, fashion, personality and so on, and through the Fiestas, Smirnoff is building a community and curating experiences that allow our consumers to bring their authenticity to the table.”

To get a ticket, consumers can buy a 6-pack of Smirnoff Black, Red or Green Ice, Guarana, or a bottle of Smirnoff Vodka from Carrefour Metroplex, Lugogo or Entebbe; Quality Supermarket Naalya; Capital Shoppers Ntinda and Nakawa; Mega Standard Supermarket Downtown; Master Supermarket Ntinda; and Senana Hypermarket.

After the debut Fiesta on the 25th of this month, the brand will be going to Uganda Martyrs University – Nkozi, Mbarara and Gulu before returning to Kampala for the finale later in the year.
