Legendary musician Jose Chameleone issued a public apology for kissing his brother Weasel during the Gwanga Mujje concert.

In the video, Chameleone asked for forgiveness from his fans, countrymen, and women.

“Weasel and I are brothers and family men. We were caught up in the heat of the moment. The act is regrettable and should not have happened,” said Chameleone.

His apology came after a section of the public accused the two brothers of promoting homosexuality in Africa.

However, the apology has also received mixed reactions.

A one @DorisKemigisha said, “I was annoyed and disgusted by what you did, but I’m now relieved that you have apologized. That’s what greatness is all about. Acknowledging our mistakes and taking responsibility for them… Thank you Legend. Love you, Soo, much ???”

“First time we call it a “mistake”… second time we call it a “coincidence”… Third time, we call it a “habit ” so now it’s a habit on your side, but let’s pray not to see it for the fourth time. The fourth time we call it a “hobby,” it’s part of your life… But good to apologize, “@mshabanw reacted.

@Kayera256 said, “Be very careful with your actions because you inspire a lot of people, mostly young people, who are following you in the music industry. We don’t want to see our sons, brothers kissing each other because of you.”

“You don’t need to apologize for that,” @HillaryTaylorVI reacted.

A one Otoro Juma said, “Thank you Jose for being apologetic. This the man I know and I knew that you will do it.”

“Did I miss the apology for whipping the boda man?… and the “burning” incident? #JustCurious,” reacted @Lydmirembe.

Meanwhile, Pastor Martin Ssempa, the founder of Makerere Community Church, has since withdrawn the police report he filed regarding the Chameleone-Weasel kiss.
