Police in Kira division and Bweyogerere are investigating circumstances under which a 26-year-old, “boyfriend” was injured as he attempted to sneak into the family home of his girlfriend on Sunday at around 3 am.

The police say that the occupants immediately called the police at Bbuto, who responded.

The occupants of the home came out of the home and identified the stranger, as Ddiro Michael, a 26-year-old boda boda rider of Bukerere village, and a boyfriend to Namata Margret, a 26-year-old niece to the reporter who stays in the home.

“The circumstances clearly show that the victim knew the home and could have gained access to the home. We urge such young adults to avoid such risky behaviors, especially at night,” says the police.

The police further revealed that the victim is out of danger and recovering well.
