Singer Hajjarah Diana Namukwaya alias Spice Diana has opened up about the status of her friendship with Bobi Wine and his wife, Barbie Kyagulanyi.

Spice, a longtime friend of Bobi and Barbie Wine, agreed to perform at Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s Thanksgiving concert in Kabale district last month. This led some Bobi Wine-supporting social media users to criticize her. They accused Spice of betraying Bobi Wine.

Spice Diana said in an interview last night that Bobi Wine and Barbie have never gotten in touch with her about the subject.

The couple, according to the singer, recognized the demands of her line of work.

“I have a lot of respect for Bobi Wine and Barbie. They have treated me as a family member and they respect my job,” Spice said.

Spice claims that only a small percentage of fans failed to comprehend her decision.

“There was a small section of people who talked a lot when I performed for Muhoozi but my fans did not say anything. I’m too busy to lose sleep because of what other people are talking about me,” she said.
