Gerald Mayanja, the father of renowned singer Jose Chameleone, has officially confirmed reports about his son battling a stomach-related illness in the United States of America.

Mayanja revealed that Chameleone has been suffering from this illness for several months and ultimately decided to undergo surgery while in America.

During an interview with a local television station, Mayanja verified that Chameleone is currently bedridden and undergoing treatment.

He explained that the illness has been causing severe stomach pain, which became increasingly unbearable during his recent visit to America.

Chameleone travelled to the US in mid-June 2023 to attend his son Abba’s graduation ceremony. He also visited Jamaica. However, upon his return to the US, he was reportedly rushed to a hospital in Minnesota, where he underwent emergency surgery.

We wish Chameleone a quick recovery!
