Cindy announces concert on same date as Sheebah

Dancehall sensation Cindy Sanyu has set the stage for a showdown with her longtime nemesis, Sheebah Karungi, as she announces her concert on the same date as Sheebah’s previously announced Yolo Festival. Both concerts are scheduled for September 15, adding fuel to their past rivalry.

Cindy revealed her concert plans during a media address this afternoon, disclosing that her team has secured Kololo Ceremonial Grounds as the venue for her concert. She explained that no one had booked the venue for September 15, and they have already paid the required fees.

In 2019, the two singers engaged in a heated exchange on social media, sparking debates among fans as they defended their favourite artist. The rivalry even inspired diss tracks from both musicians, though only Cindy’s “Copicat” gained significant attention.

However, their feud took an unexpected turn when Sheebah shared a video of herself dancing and enjoying Cindy’s song “Boom Party” on Instagram, calling it “lit.” This gesture seemingly ended the animosity, as Cindy responded by expressing her gratitude and surprise at Sheebah’s support for her new track.

Now, with both artists announcing concerts on the same date, fans eagerly await the unfolding of this showdown.
