Singer Winnie Nwagi has revealed that she once despised her own body due to hurtful body-shaming comments from others.

While appearing in an interview on NTV The Beat this evening, Nwagi said that her biggest challenge has been her body.

“My biggest challenge has been my body. They used to body shame me. When that stopped, they started touching me,” Nwagi disclosed.

Earlier this month, a video of  Nwagi involved in an altercation with a fan in Masindi went viral. According to Nwagi, the fan crossed the line by inappropriately touching her.

Nwagi reacted by hitting the fan with a microphone, defending her action by asserting that she views such unwanted touching as a form of disrespect rather than love.

She vows to stand up against any fan who attempts to touch her inappropriately, emphasizing that she will not tolerate such behaviour.
