Uganda Bankers Association explores Raxio’s cutting-edge data centre for enhanced banking services

In a bid to stay ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving world of technology, members of the Uganda Bankers Association (UBA) embarked on an exploratory visit to Raxio’s state-of-the-art data centre in Namanve Business Industrial Park, Kampala.

The visit aimed to delve into the advanced technology and infrastructure that enables Raxio to offer seamless and secure banking services to customers nationwide.

During the visit, the UBA delegation had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the innovative data centre solutions that empower Raxio to maintain high data security standards, scalability, and uninterrupted operations.

James Byaruhanga of Raxio Data Centre emphasized the importance of this partnership, providing UBA organizations with the knowledge and tools to remain at the forefront of cutting-edge technology.

The data centre tour showcased the sophisticated infrastructure, robust data backup and disaster recovery capabilities, and adherence to industry-leading security standards, ensuring the utmost protection of customer data.

Additionally, the delegation was impressed by Raxio’s commitment to environmental sustainability through energy-efficient operations and responsible data management.

Alex Wekoye, the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Raxio Data Centre, expressed their dedication to supporting financial institutions like UBA in their pursuit of digital transformation and delivering superior services to clients.

The visit not only provided valuable insights into Raxio’s advanced technology but also fostered discussions on potential collaboration opportunities between Raxio Data Centre and UBA, with the aim of fortifying the banking sector’s technological infrastructure further.
