Pilsner Lager, a product of Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL), has pledged a Shs40 million donation towards the upcoming Empango celebrations, marking the 28th coronation anniversary of His Majesty King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the Omukama of Toro. The highly anticipated event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 12th, 2023, at Karuzika Hill in Fort Portal and emphasizes the promotion of good health and environmental conservation for the people of Toro.

During a visit to the Palace, a representative from Uganda Breweries Limited, Andrew Kaahwa, praised King Oyo for his cultural leadership and expressed pride in supporting such significant cultural celebrations.

He stated, “As the biggest supporter of cultural celebration and expression in Uganda, Pilsner Lager is proud to be part of yet another coronation anniversary and looks forward to further opportunities to positively impact the community in partnership with the Kingdom of Toro.”
