The highly anticipated musical battle between Sheebah Karungi and Cindy Sanyu is happening today at Kololo Independence Grounds, sponsored by Victoria University.

Fans are gearing up for a night of musical prowess as the two divas go head-to-head.

In a break from tradition, there won’t be any curtain raisers for this event. Instead, the focus will be entirely on the main showdown.

The gates will open in the afternoon, but the main event won’t kick off until 8 p.m. In the interim, attendees will be treated to the beats of several talented DJs to keep the excitement building.

Upon entering the venue, each fan will be asked to declare their allegiance to either Sheebah or Cindy. They will then be directed to their respective seating areas, with barriers already in place to keep the rival fan groups apart.

To determine the order of performance, a coin toss will decide who takes the stage first. Each artist will have a 20-minute set, followed by a brief break for costume changes and to allow fans to catch their breath.

Kasuku, one of the members of the organizing team and a media personality shared on NBS TV After 5 show that the judges will consider various factors, including fashion, stage presence, vocal range, live band ability, and timekeeping when awarding points.

A cash reward awaits the victor, with the winner decided based on points from the judges and the general vibe among the enthusiastic crowd.
