Ntare School in Mbarara has suspended all senior six students due to issues of indiscipline. A letter from the school, signed by Saul Rwampororo, the headteacher, detailed that the students were found responsible for damaging school property.

This incident occurred over the weekend when a group of senior six candidates was allegedly involved in reckless behaviour, which included vandalizing classroom furniture and defacing school buildings, including recently installed CCTV cameras.

Part of the statement from the school management reads, “The school management has today, on October 3, 2023, decided to indefinitely suspend the entire Senior Six because last night they exhibited a high degree of indiscipline – they deliberately destroyed school property, including the recently installed CCTV cameras around the school.”
