Commenting on the Independence Day festivities, Christine Kyokunda, the Brand Manager of Johnnie Walker Uganda, commended Ugandans not only for reaching the remarkable milestone of 61 years of independence, but also for their courageous endeavors. She emphasized that commemorating this significant milestone with Johnnie Walker, a brand synonymous with progress and celebration, was a true fit.

“Reaching the 61-year independence milestone is significant progress, and what better way to celebrate than with the whisky that embodies progress and jubilation. Uganda at 61 is a momentous milestone for our country, and in the same spirit, we at Johnnie Walker Uganda wish you join and celebrate all Ugandans that have kept walking,” she said.

“In addition to this milestone, we celebrate the bold strides that the nation and its people have taken in the 61 years. Together, we have built and grown, embracing life’s pleasures along the way. It’s a cause for celebration, and let’s raise our glasses and toast to yet another year of independence,” she added.

All whisky lovers can enjoy their Independence Day with a toast of Johnnie Walker, from their favorite hangout spot or they can choose to gift their loved ones this Independence Day with a gift of Big Flavour – Johnnie Walker,” Kyokunda remarked.

The brand is currently unveiling its Walker Town Experience, offering Ugandans an immersive journey into the bold steps it takes to craft its rich and flavorful blend.
