Celebrated Nigerian artiste Ric Hassini put up a performance that lived up to the billing when he set foot on stage at the Shonale show hosted at the Lugogo Hockey Grounds on Saturday night with I&M Bank on the wheel.

The build up to the event had everyone anticipating a show for the ages and Ric Hassani did not disappoint at all. He gave it all and by the time he walked off stage, every single reveler had reason to leave the venue with a story to tell at home.

The All African Music Awards and Headies nominee upheld his tag as the voice of Modern Pop by owning the splendid event with some of his bangers starting with ,Only You , which lifted the roof off the venue. It got heightened when Ric Hassani introduced one of the country’s hottest acts in Joshua Baraka who kicked his session off with ‘Dalilah’ before unleashing his bangers ‘ Nana’ that gripped the continent. Before Baraka’s segment, Swangs’ golden boy Elijah Kitaka did his thing, reaffirming his prospect as the next big thing with records like Nothing, Ndi Wuwo, Elevated off his albums Bedroom Essentials and SANKOFA. Girl singing group, Warafiki, who are gradually finding their feet in the industry also showed revelers why they are highly rated with a colourful and energetic performance.

Event sponsors, I&M Bank, fresh from launching a partnership with MasterCard, used the show as a platform to showcase the benefits of using the I&M MasterCard Cards, even at the event in a reserved space. The cards come with admirable discounts and offers both locally and globally, making them an item for a debonair lifestyle.

“As I&M Bank, we thrive by taking our products and services to the public. We have used the event to engage revelers on the details of the different MasterCard Cards. These include I&M Standard Debit Mastercard,  I&M World Debit Mastercard, and I&M World Elite Debit Card. We feel the cards can transform our clients’ banking experience to a whole new different level,” said I&M Bank Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Annette Nakiyaga.

Hosts Zuba and Saint Trevor came out strong and interacted well with the audience to keep the atmosphere on flames.  Djs Alza and Ssese turned decks for ages to make the event flawless. The organization ticked all the boxes and it was evident as plaudits came in from revelers through different social media platforms.
