The heated debate over how much a man should give a woman after a date seems far from over, as singer Spice Diana has also added her voice to the discussion.

This controversial topic was initiated by Evelyn Mic, a presenter on Galaxy FM and Spark TV. In her opinion, Evelyn believes that Shs50,000 is too little to give to a woman after a date, considering the alleged investments women make in themselves just to show up on a date. She argues that receiving a small sum that doesn’t even cover half of their expenses is an insult.

Evelyn’s perspective caused a stir on social media, with the majority saying that if a woman expects money after a date, she should inform the man in advance.

For clarification, a date is an appointment to meet someone or go out with them, especially someone with whom you are having or may soon have a romantic relationship.

Meanwhile, Spice Diana has joined the discussion, stating that it is not mandatory for a man to give a woman money after a date.

The singer believes that a date should not be viewed as a money-making opportunity but rather as an opportunity for two individuals to connect and get to know each other.

“I always go on dinner dates, but I never expect to be given money. Some men offer me money, and I decline even when I want it,” she said.

However, Spice Diana mentions that money transactions can be made if both parties agree.
