Minister Kasolo pledges Shs20m for construction of Buddu football stadium

The Minister of State for Microfinance Hon. Haruna Kasolo Kyeyune has pledged to contribute Shs20M towards the construction of a football stadium in Buddu ahead of the Uganda Marathon which is aimed at raising funds for the construction of the stadium.

Kasolo who was represented by his assistants Henry Busulwa and Martin Kitumba told the Katikiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga about the Minister’s contribution towards the construction of the Buddu stadium and also purchased kits for the marathon worth Shs2 million. The Marathon is happening this Friday.

Katikiro applauded the minister for loving Uganda and Buganda. He also thanked him for coming up with different projects that are helping to eradicate poverty.

He called upon the people of Buganda and Buddu to come together this Friday to support the cause by being part of the marathon as all proceeds will be directed to the construction of the stadium.
