Sheebah Karungi is set to headline this year’s edition of the Pilsner Lager sponsored Rukundo Egumeho on the 2nd of June at Indian Association Grounds Lugogo.

The Wakikuba star will perform live to some of her popular hits alongside some of Western Uganda singing sensations, Peace Mbabazi, Snazz Moses and Bowman Aremwaki.

The edition will not only immerse attendees into a wholesome musical experience, but a modern cultural experience and appreciation of the Bakiga community.

This will come to life at the Pilsner Lager Cultural Village where culture and modernity intertwine through music and dance, food and drinks, and crafts to highlight the beauty of Kigezi.

According to Edgar Kihumuro, the Pilsner Lager Brand Manager, Rukundo Egumeho has grown significantly since its inception, becoming a major cultural event that not only celebrates heritage but also fosters unity and pride among the Bakiga people and other groups of people.

“The sponsorship underscores our commitment to supporting cultural initiatives and community development. This year’s celebrations will be a memorable tribute to the enduring beauty and spirit of the Bakiga peoples,” Kihumuro added.

This year’s theme aims at highlighting the natural and cultural wealth of the Kigezi region, promoting tourism and cultural appreciation to not only the Bakiga but everyone.

Tickets are available at mticket.252.co.ug at  Shs15,000 early bird and Shs20,000 at the gate.
