The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Hon. Norbert Mao, and his longtime fiancée, Beatrice Kayanja, have tied the knot in a glamorous wedding ceremony in Gulu City.

The couple walked down the aisle this morning at St. Joseph’s Cathedral. Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa, who is among the many notable figures at the event, is serving as Norbert Mao’s best man. Others in attendance include Afande Asan Kasingye, Hon. Mukasa Mbidde, and EALA MP Hon. Gerald Silanda, among others.

Deputy Speaker of Parliament Thomas Tayebwa signing on the marriage certificate as one of the witnesses as his wife  Grace Rukundo looks on.

Pictures and videos from the wedding are making the rounds on social media. The couple will later be hosting their guests at a yet-to-be-revealed reception venue in Gulu city.
