Kabaka Ronald Mutebi has finally spoken about his health condition, saying he is improving and will be returning to Uganda very soon.

In a video posted on the Buganda Kingdom official social media pages, Kabaka confirmed that he is on his recovery journey in Namibia under the supervision of his medical doctors.

He thanked the people of Buganda for all the prayers sent to him and for not giving up in the midst of the challenges.

For a while now, the Kabaka’s health has been a public concern as he has been in and out of the country on several occasions for medical reasons. In 2021, Katikkiro Mayiga said that the Kabaka was suffering from an allergy and was receiving the best care.

Earlier this year, Mayiga revealed that the Kabaka had traveled back to Germany for a medical checkup. A few weeks later, a photo of him surfaced on social media, showing him with his brother, Prince Joseph Ndawula, in Namibia.
