Natasha Nyonyozi crowned Miss Uganda 2024 in glamorous finale

The Miss Uganda 2024 pageant culminated in a grand finale at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel last Saturday, where Natasha Nyonyozi was crowned the winner.

The event, broadcast live on StarTimes Makula KiKa and Makula Kazzanyo Ku Kazzanyo Television, showcased a spectacular display of fashion, beauty, and entertainment.

Renowned musicians Maddox Sematimba, Jackie Chandiru, and YKEE Benda, along with Kampala’s D Maestroz Band, delivered captivating performances that thrilled the audience.

Natasha Nyonyozi impressed the judges with her charisma, intelligence, and charm, earning her the coveted title. As Miss Uganda 2024, she will represent the country at international pageants and serve as a role model for young women nationwide.

Other winners included Letaru Patience (Miss Popularity), Sureya Uheimah (Top Model), Sarah Twinkle Karungi (Beach Beauty), and Maria Mugaga (Miss Talent).

The Miss Uganda pageant aims to empower the girl child, promote Ugandan beauty and culture, and this year’s event was a testament to the organization’s commitment to excellence.

Bruce Augus, CEO of StarTimes Uganda, expressed his excitement about being part of the event, saying, “We believe in empowering women and promoting local content, and this event aligns perfectly with our values. We congratulate Natasha and other winners and look forward to seeing Natasha Nyonyozi represent Uganda on the global stage.”

Augus also thanked partners, including Miss Uganda Foundation, Grace Textiles, Uhome, Kiira Motors, Uganda Airlines, V&A, and Comfoam, for their support.
