Police have confirmed the arrest of Lujja Bbosa Tabula, the main suspect in the murder of former Ndiga clan leader, Engineer Daniel Bbosa.

Tabula was apprehended this evening in Kimelika-Namulonge, Busikuma, by the police crime intelligence squad.

Engineer Bbosa was shot dead on February 25, 2024, in Kikandwa village, Lungujja, Rubaga Division, Kampala. Following the incident, locals pursued the shooters, lynched one, and arrested Noah Lujja, who revealed that they were hired by Tabula.

The police announced that Tabula had fled Uganda and was suspected to be hiding in Tanzania. A bounty on his head was initially set at Shs10 million and later increased to Shs20 million for information leading to his capture.

Last month, police recovered 17 human skulls at the shrine of Lujja Tabula. With his arrest today, the police say his file is ready and will soon be brought before court to face charges of murder.
