Man arrested in Masindi for digging own grave, buying coffin

Police in Masindi have arrested a one Moses Wanara after he dug a grave and bought a coffin, sparking fears he might harm himself or his relatives amid a heated land dispute.

Wanara, a resident of Zebra village, had excavated the grave and placed the coffin in his home, alarming local residents who worried he might take drastic action.

The chairman of Karujubu sub-county, Solomon Asiimwe, alerted the police after concerned community members approached him.
