Rain may have threatened the festivities, but the crowd’s enthusiasm never waned, particularly during Joshua Baraka’s set. Following his performance, the highly anticipated BLU 3 took to the stage, but with a twist—they first showcased their individual talents before uniting for a captivating group performance.

They opened with “Strong Woman,” then seamlessly transitioned through hits like “Hitaji,” “Mutima Gwange,” “Frisky Remix,” “Where You Are,” and “Burn,” featuring a surprise guest appearance by Navio.

Designed to be family-friendly, the festival included a dedicated area with bouncy castles, allowing children under 12 to enter for free. A variety of vendors also contributed to the lively atmosphere, offering food, drinks, fashion, and crafts.

Overall, Blankets and Wine was a resounding celebration of music and community, leaving attendees eagerly anticipating the next event.
