PICTORIAL: Captain Morgan unveils new Spice Takeover Experience in Kampala

Uganda Breweries’ leading rum brand Captain Morgan has unveiled a new consumer experience dubbed the Captain Morgan Spice Takeover premiering in the city capital, Kampala on the 1st of November at the Lugogo Hockey Grounds.

 The Spice Takeover is poised to connect and celebrate the uniqueness of every consumer with a dab of Captain Morgan spice to establish a personal bond with the brand.

Adding to the anticipation, Jamaican dancehall sensation Kranium has been announced to headline the debut spice takeover, promising an electrifying kickstart to the experience with live music performances to some of his popular hits.

Speaking at the unveil, Judie Nandekya the Uganda Breweries Brand Manager-Captain Morgan revealed that the consumers are constantly looking for new and exciting ways of having fun and the “Spice Takeover” is as such designed to add a bold new twist to any occasion for all consumers.

“The Spice Takeover is part of Captain Morgan’s global Spice On Campaign unpacked to consumers through unexpected drinking occasions while adding spice to these experiences through music, fashion and any form of expression” she said.

More to the debut Captain Morgan Spice Takeover will be music mixes from top Kampala music masters, Melvyn DJ, Dj Sssese, Dj Bryan, Kash Pro and Lynda Dane hosted by Jokwiz and Etania Life of the Party.

Captain Morgan is an adventurous rum that now comes in a new look with the same great taste.

Tickets to the experience are on sale online at Shs80k for early bird and Shs100 at the gate on www.rave.ug.
