After a public altercation over socialite Sheilah Gashumba, singers Grenade Official and Rickman Manrick are now set to face each other in an organized boxing match.

The two musicians were reportedly involved in a fistfight at a bar about a year ago, with rumors suggesting the dispute was sparked by Gashumba. With the growing popularity of corporate boxing among socialites and public figures, the Uganda Boxing Federation has announced that Grenade and Rickman will settle their differences in a regulated boxing match. The announcement was made this morning at Paradise Fitness City Gym.

The corporate bout is scheduled for December 26, 2024, at the UMA Showgrounds.

This upcoming match follows the recent inaugural corporate boxing event between Shakib Lutaaya, husband of businesswoman and socialite Zari Hassan, and media personality JK Kazoora. That highly anticipated match thrilled the crowd, with each jab, block, and move receiving loud cheers from enthusiastic fans. Shakib emerged victorious after Kazoora, unable to withstand the intensity, removed his headgear and gloves, signaling his surrender.

While the bout between Kazoora and Shakib had no personal animosity, the Grenade-Rickman face-off is expected to carry more intensity. Given their history, many fans anticipate that this match might be personal, with each punch carrying the weight of their unresolved rivalry.
