Equity Bank Uganda launches 24/7 toll-free customer support line to enhance accessibility

Equity Bank Uganda has launched a toll-free customer contact centre line, enabling customers to access support free of charge. The new toll-free line is available 24/7, aiming to streamline customer inquiries and facilitate faster resolutions while removing the expense associated with previous customer service calls.

The new toll-free line 0800 232700 is available 24/7 and customers will be served in several languages spoken across Uganda including Swahili, Luganda, Luo, Runyakitara and other four Rs languages.

Equity Bank’s Head of Customer Experience Jael Christine Wawulira emphasized the value of this service enhancement in building stronger relationships with customers: “Easy and accessible communication channels are vital to fostering trust and ensuring customer satisfaction,” she said. “By introducing toll-free lines, we underscore our commitment to delivering a first-rate banking experience, ensuring our clients can effortlessly reach us whenever they need assistance.”

The toll-free service is now available to all Equity Bank customers, representing another stride toward creating an inclusive and supportive banking environment across Uganda.
