Police in Masaka have arrested a woman captured in a video feeding a baby feces.

The suspect, identified as Stella Namwanje, is also accused of forcing the child to drink her urine. The incident is believed to have taken place three weeks ago.

Namwanje, 34, is a resident of Binyonyi A village in Nyendo Mukungwe sub-county, Masaka city, and is currently being held at Masaka Central Police Station.

A mother of three, Namwanje works as a commercial sex worker in Nyendo. She denies any harmful intent toward her friend’s child.

The child’s mother, Olivia Mbabazi, expressed shock upon learning of the incident, stating that she trusted Namwanje with her child and believed she cared for the baby. Mbabazi often left her child in Namwanje’s care, unaware of any potential danger.

Twaha Kasirye, a police spokesperson in Masaka, confirmed that investigations are ongoing to determine Namwanje’s motives.
