“Indomie has earned its place as Uganda’s best-loved noodles. Made primarily from high-quality wheat and offered in irresistible flavors like Chicken, Beef, and Supa Mojo (Vegetable), we prioritize delivering on our promise of unmatched quality,” he said. “But a promise is only as good as its execution. Every day, we strive to exceed expectations—ensuring affordability, availability, and an unforgettable experience with every pack. Indomie has become more than a meal; it’s a part of life for millions of Ugandans.”

The awards ceremony saw Hon. Betty Amongi, Minister of Gender, Labour, and Social Development, gracing the event as Guest of Honor. Representing the Vice President of Uganda, she praised the winners for their contributions to the country’s economic and social growth.

“The People’s Choice Awards reflect the trust and confidence Ugandans have in the dynamism of our business sector, nurtured under the visionary leadership of His Excellency President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the NRM government,” said Hon. Amongi. “This year’s recognition of 60 exceptional companies underscores the resilience, innovation, and determination of Uganda’s entrepreneurial community. To our investors and entrepreneurs, we say thank you for believing in Uganda and investing in its future.”

As the official distributor of Indomie in Uganda, Dembe Trading Enterprises Ltd plays a pivotal role in ensuring the noodles are accessible nationwide. Mr. Anil Damani, Group CEO, reiterated their mission:

“We are deeply committed to reaching every corner of the country. Our goal is to ensure that every Ugandan, regardless of location, can enjoy the convenience and quality of Indomie Instant Noodles. Affordability and availability remain at the core of our operations, allowing us to make a meaningful impact on households across Uganda.”

The People’s Choice Awards are determined through extensive consumer surveys conducted across Uganda’s major towns and cities, with feedback from over 40,000 respondents.
