King Saha’s concert approved after safety concerns; police announce guidelines

King Saha’s much-anticipated concert, set for January 24, 2025, at the Cricket Oval in Lugogo, has finally been given the green light by the Uganda Police Force after an earlier suspension raised concerns about safety.

The event, organized by Galabuzi Denis Benon of Umoja Management Ltd, faced a temporary halt on January 23, 2025, to address these issues. However, after a crucial meeting this morning involving the joint security team, event organizers, and venue managers, the police approved the concert to proceed under strict conditions.

One key measure includes restricting access to the pavilion at the Cricket Oval, as it was deemed structurally unsafe and a potential hazard to attendees.
