Last night, A Pass reminded everyone why he is the Kabaka of the Midnight Drum. His concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel, proudly sponsored by I&M Bank was nothing short of spectacular. The star left no doubt about his talent as a performer and artist, starting from the moment he made his grand entrance to when he drew the curtains on a beautiful evening.

The room erupted in excitement at the thunderous opening to the beat of Midnight Drum. It was a breathtaking stage and an even better view as Apass commanded the crowd with his vocals.

Over nearly two hours, A Pass performed hit after hit from his impressive catalog.

From the crowd favorite Tuli Kubigere to the catchy Oruuso, he had fans on their feet. But it was his collaboration with Ykee Benda on Turn Up The Vibe that sealed the night. As the final song, it brought everyone to their feet, with the entire room singing and dancing along.

During his performance, A Pass couldn’t hold in the love and pride in his heart and thanked his fans saying, “Thank you for showing up and showing me love. It means a lot to me. I love you all!”

His performance was a visual treat, too, as he changed outfits five times, each reflecting a fusion of Asian-inspired, modern, and runway fashion. Every costume was bold, stylish, and uniquely Apass.

A highlight of the evening was when A Pass invited Lilian Mbabazi to join him on stage for their emotional duet, Memories. It was a magical moment that left the audience inpresssed.

The crowd erupted with excitement as A Pass hit the stage, delivering electrifying performances of “Wuuyo,” “Chupa Ku Chupa,” “Gamululu,” “Dididada,” “Give Me a Kiss,” and “Tulo.”

Amid the glitz and glamour of the night, one couldn’t miss the presence of I&M Bank, a name synonymous with growth and community.

At the heart of it all was Raymond Kakuru, the bank’s Brand and Events Officer, who emphasized how music, like banking, connects people in meaningful ways. “Tonight was about celebrating the music that connects us while also supporting a talent like Apass, who brings us all together, he has outdone himself and we are honored to be a part of his journey!”

Notable celebrities and socialites, including Bobi Wine, Anne Kansiime, Levixone, and Don MC Kapata graced the concert.

A standout moment of the show was the heartfelt tribute to Uganda’s music legend, Mozey Radio. DJ Roja, along with the show’s hosts, took the audience on a musical journey through some of Radio’s biggest hits, sparking an unforgettable wave of energy as the crowd sang along and danced to every beat.

The event also featured other incredible acts like Warafiki, a rising girl group whose performance was powerful. Valentino’s angelic dance storytelling on stage added another layer of beauty to the night.

One thing is for certain, The Kabaka of the Midnight Drum has spoken, and his kingdom is filled with nothing but love and unity.
