Chameleone speaks on his health situation as he prepares for surgery in the U.S

Legendary singer Joseph Mayanja, alias Jose Chameleone, has spoken about his health after being rushed to a hospital in the United States due to health complications.

In a video posted on his social media, the singer stated that he has been admitted to the hospital in preparation for pancreatic surgery following a recent attack.

Speaking from his hospital bed, Chameleone said he is awaiting surgery and will provide updates to his fans once the procedure is complete.

He also expressed gratitude to those praying for his recovery.

Chameleone traveled to the U.S. in December last year to undergo specialized treatment after being discharged from Nakasero Hospital.

His condition had improved over the past two weeks following specialized treatment at Allina Health Mercy Hospital in the U.S., but he suddenly felt unwell again and was readmitted.

He is now set to undergo surgery, after which he will take a three-month leave to rest and fully recover.
