In the spirit of reimagination, Guinness Smooth has applied morevibrancy and expression to its pack and brand world. The beer that is celebrated for its irresistibly smooth taste has unveiled a fresh new look that is as bold, vibrant, and expressive as the people who enjoy it.

Launched today, the redesigned pack captures the brand’s dynamic, premium, and playful personality. It offers the same perfectly balanced blend of roasted barley and sweet maltbrewed to the highest standards to deliver the distinctive taste and flavour that smooth lovers know and trust.

Since its launch in 2019, Guinness Smooth has carved out its place as a standout beer, offering a smoother, more laid-back take on the iconic stout. Now, with this striking new design, the brand is embracing a modern, energetic look that reflects the creativity, vibrancy, and sense of community of its drinkers.

With dynamic colour contrasts, bold typography and the iconic Guinness harp standing proudly in metallic gold, the new design pays tribute to Africa where the brand was first launched, while embodying a premium, contemporary feel. Vibrant pops of green and orange add a striking touch, making the pack unmissable on shelves and in hand.

Elizabeth Mutamuliza, Head of Beer at Uganda Breweries Limited.

Speaking on the launch, Elizabeth Mutamuliza, Head of Beer at Uganda Breweries Limited, shared her sentiments about the transformation: “We are reimagining Guinness Smooth with a look that truly reflects its bold and vibrant personality. This isn’t just a packaging refresh; it’s a celebration of creativity and self-expression. Guinness Smooth has always been about bringing people together for lively moments, and now its packaging embodies that same energy. It’s the same smooth, satisfying beer, but with a bold new attitude.”

While the look has been refreshed, the liquid remains unchanged. Brewed with roasted barley, sweet malt, and a blend of hops, Guinness Smooth delivers a well-balanced, silky mouthfeel with hints of chocolate and caramel, making it the perfect choice for life’s best moments. Whether enjoyed chilled straight from the bottle or poured into a glass to unlock its rich aromas, Guinness Smooth is designed for those who appreciate great taste with a touch of style.

The new Guinness Smooth pack is now available in bars, supermarkets, restaurants, and other outlets across Uganda. To learn more about Guinness Smooth and its bold new chapter, follow @Guinness_Africa on Instagram and Facebook and join the conversation.
