National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Robert Kyagulanyi, alias Bobi Wine, has accepted Chief of Defense Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s challenge to a boxing match.

It all started when Muhoozi, through his known X handle (formerly Twitter), stated that killing Bobi Wine wouldn’t be difficult but that he preferred to handle the matter in a boxing ring instead.

“Killing Kabobi is an easy job! Very easy. He says he likes boxing. I invite him to a boxing match,” Muhoozi said.

In response, Bobi Wine accepted the challenge but set conditions.

“If you beat me, I’ll quit politics, and if I beat you, you quit alcohol. Say when, and I’ll say where,” he said.

For a while, there has been a ‘cold war’ between the two, with each throwing provocative words on X (formerly Twitter).

Meanwhile, Uganda Boxing Federation President Moses Muhangi has expressed readiness to organize the boxing match, suggesting that it should take place at Namboole Stadium. He further stated that judges and the referee would be ‘imported’ from abroad to ensure fairness.
