n a service-driven industry like hospitality, customer experience is everything. That’s why it’s essential for customer service departments to operate seamlessly, guided by capable leaders who leave no room for error.

At Kabira Country Club, excellence remains a top priority. The facility’s Food and Beverage service team recently completed an intensive training session under the Diageo Bar Academy, further sharpening their skills in professional hotel service.
The programme, coordinated by Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL), is part of a broader initiative to elevate service standards and professionalism across Uganda’s hospitality industry. This year alone, the academy aims to train 1,650 bartenders and hospitality staff in Kampala.

At Kabira, participants were trained in key areas such as cocktail making (mixology), customer engagement, responsible alcohol service, and business acumen—skills vital for both guest satisfaction and personal career growth.
