For three years and counting, singer Karole Kasita has had one goal in mind — landing a music collaboration with Nigerian superstar Tiwa Savage. But despite her persistence, the dream project remains just out of reach.

During an interview on Galaxy FM, Karole opened up about the uphill battle she’s faced trying to make the collab happen. She revealed that communication setbacks have been the biggest stumbling block.

“We’re on it. We even called her yesterday, but she didn’t pick up,” Karole said. “I’m seriously pursuing it, and I’m still hopeful it will come through.”

The buzz around a possible collaboration between the two artists first started in 2022 when Tiwa Savage visited Uganda. During a press conference hosted by comedian Patrick Salvado, Tiwa met with several local female artists, including Karole. When asked about working with a Ugandan artist, Tiwa expressed interest in collaborating with Karole — as long as certain conditions were met.

Since then, fans have held onto hope, waiting for the two stars to unite in the studio. But as time drags on, that long-anticipated track remains more of a promise than a project.

Whether the stars eventually align remains to be seen, but one thing’s clear — Karole Kasita isn’t giving up just yet.
