Singer Azawi, real name Priscilla Zawedde, is setting the record straight about what she looks for in a partner—and it’s not money.

In an interview on Kasuku Live, the Slow Dancing hitmaker opened up about her dating preferences, making it clear that age and character matter more to her than financial status.

“I prefer someone in their late 30s—35 and above is perfect,” Azawi said. “But definitely not past 40. If you’re in your 20s or 25, please stay away.”

Beyond age, Azawi admitted she’s drawn to a specific type.

“I like them a bit chubby, tall, clean, and with good morals,” she shared.

Despite her rising success and fame, the singer said she’s not searching for a provider.

“I’m not broke, so I don’t need financial help,” she stated firmly. “I just want someone who makes me feel safe and brings peace to my soul.”

Loyalty, according to Azawi, is non-negotiable.

“I can’t tolerate a cheat,” she said. “I don’t play with people’s feelings—it’s one person at a time for me.”
