Wedding bells are ringing for Tasha Kunzi Karugire, granddaughter to President Yoweri Museveni, after she got engaged to her partner in an intimate ceremony that has set tongues wagging online.

Tasha, the daughter of Edwin Karugire and Natasha Museveni, said “yes” in what appears to have been a closely guarded celebration attended by a select circle of family and friends. Though the event was kept largely under wraps, a few snapshots and brief video clips have since surfaced on social media, sparking excitement and congratulations from well-wishers.

Her fiancé is reportedly the son of Lieutenant General Sam Kavuma, the Commander of the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS), adding another layer of high-profile pedigree to the couple’s union.
