Pastor Wilson Bugembe has once again spoken out about a topic that has followed him throughout his public life—marriage.
In a recent interview with a local TV station, the Worship House Church leader admitted that the question of marriage has weighed heavily on him for years.
While he’s often been asked why he’s still single, Bugembe remains hopeful that the time will come when he addresses the issue once and for all—without needing to explain himself.
“The issue of marriage has disturbed me a lot,” he confessed. “But the Bible encourages us to pray without ceasing. One day, I will give an answer without beating around the bush.”
With an upcoming concert already in the pipeline, Bugembe revealed that he has also been praying for something more personal.
“I asked God that after this concert, the next big event I organise will be a wedding,” he said. “I won’t give any dates because I’ve made promises before and didn’t deliver. I don’t want to be called a liar.”
Now 41, Bugembe has spent nearly two decades in the limelight, winning over Ugandans with his music and ministry. Yet, one constant point of curiosity has been his love life—or lack thereof.
Still, he remains steadfast, assuring his followers that marriage is part of his journey—only that it will happen in God’s perfect timing. And when it does, he promises, they’ll be the first to know.
