In a rare academic milestone, triplets walked across the graduation stage at Cavendish University Uganda (CUU) today, each receiving a Bachelor of Laws degree with the same Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).

The sisters, Marysent Kihembo Abiine, Marirlyn Abiine Kirabo, and Marian Kiconco Abiine, turned heads both on stage and online. Bursting with excitement, they shared their joy on X (formerly Twitter):
“Congratulations to us! Same CGPA, same degree, triple the pride! Ladies and gentlemen, welcome your new lawyers in town 👩⚖️💃🥳❤️❤️❤️.”

Their unique achievement lit up CUU’s 14th Graduation Ceremony, held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Speke Resort, Rwenzori Convention Hall.
The event, themed “Empowering Futures: Cultivating Leaders for a Global Tomorrow,” drew dignitaries including former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan, the university’s Chancellor, and Dr Vincent Ogutu, Vice Chancellor of Strathmore University, Nairobi, who delivered the commencement address.

Founded just over a decade ago, Cavendish University has expanded to four campuses and nurtured an alumni community of more than 14,000 graduates.
But today, it was the Abiine triplets who made the moment unforgettable — proving that success, when shared, is three times as sweet.
