Senior Police Officer Musa Walugembe found dead in his home

Senior Police Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Musa Walugembe, 45, was found dead at his home in Najjanankumbi, Kampala.

Walugembe was the officer in charge of the Special Investigations Unit (SIU).

By press time, senior Police officials had not yet issued an official statement.

State Minister for Youth Affairs, Balaam Barugahara, also posted on social media announcing Walugembe’s death, describing him as a patriotic and dedicated police officer.

“Afande Musa Walugembe, who was serving with the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), passed away peacefully in his sleep. The cause of death is still unknown,” he wrote.
