Ugandan-English youngster Divine Mukasa marked his senior debut for Manchester City with an eye-catching performance in their 2-0 victory over Huddersfield Town in the Carabao Cup at the Accu Stadium.
The 17-year-old midfielder, wearing shirt number 63, immediately stamped his authority on the game, setting up Phil Foden’s opener in the 18th minute with a precise assist. Brazilian forward Savinho added a second after the break to seal City’s passage to the next round.

Mukasa, who has been named on City’s bench in recent Premier League fixtures, looked lively throughout the contest. He came close to scoring himself early in the second half when his well-struck volley was blocked inside the box, leaving him with his head in his hands.
Born in the United Kingdom to a Ugandan father and Lithuanian mother, Mukasa has already represented England at youth level from the U-15s to U-20s. However, he remains eligible to play for three nations—England, Uganda, or Lithuania—making his international future one to watch.
