Ugandan socialite Juliet Zawedde is preparing to wed Tanzanian music star Bushoke in the United States this month.
The couple, who began dating only a few months ago, will exchange vows on October 18 in what promises to be a glamorous ceremony. Their engagement followed Bushoke’s proposal, staged with glowing candles and the soft sounds of a live saxophonist.
Zawedde had long been linked to singer Jose Chameleone, particularly after she supported him during recent health challenges. But her decision to settle down with Bushoke leaves no doubt about where her heart lies.
Those close to the couple describe their love as swift but certain. They reportedly met earlier this year, bonded instantly, and soon began making public appearances together, fueling widespread speculation about their relationship.
Away from romance, Zawedde has carved a reputation as one of Uganda’s most successful women abroad. Living in Massachusetts, she balances government work with a thriving transport business said to generate millions annually. Her philanthropic ventures and lavish lifestyle have made her a household name both at home and in the diaspora.
Bushoke, already celebrated in Tanzania for his music career, now steps into a new spotlight — not just as an artist, but as Zawedde’s soon-to-be husband.
