The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has relocated several of its major departments from its headquarters in Nakawa to the newly opened RR Pearl Tower on Yusuf Lule Road.
In a public notice, URA said the move is part of its strategy to bring services closer to taxpayers and enhance efficiency in service delivery.
Among the relocated units are the Large Taxpayers Office, now housed on the 13th and 14th floors; the Public Sector and Medium Taxpayers Division on the 11th and 12th floors; the Risk and Strategy Department on the 15th floor; and the Petroleum Division also on the 13th floor.
The RR Pearl Tower—developed by the Ruparelia Group, Uganda’s leading real estate conglomerate—stands as one of the most modern office complexes in the country. Recently renamed RR Tower One by business magnate Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, the building honors the memory of his late son, Rajiv Ruparelia, who tragically passed away in May this year.
RR Tower One is the first phase of the Ruparelia Group’s ambitious business park project, offering 16 floors of Grade A office space and three levels of secure parking.
With URA’s relocation, the landmark tower adds a new tenant of national significance—cementing its place as a premier hub for government and corporate offices in Kampala’s rapidly expanding business district.
