The Guinness Matchday returns this Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Tales Bar and Lounge in Bukoto, Kampala.
With the Premier League season now in full swing, excitement among football fans is already high. The Guinness Matchday continues to keep that passion alive, delivering all the drama on giant screens amidst an electric crowd and a lively atmosphere across different venues.
This Super Sunday promises a full dose of football action with five games on the card. The evening begins with four concurrent matches at 5 PM (EAT): Crystal Palace vs Brighton, Brentford vs Newcastle, Aston Villa vs Bournemouth, and Nottingham Forest vs Leeds United.
At 7:30 PM, the spotlight turns to the highly anticipated clash between Manchester City and Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium. Both teams are coming off strong wins on Matchday 9 despite recent inconsistency. Manchester City currently sit second on the table with 18 points, while Liverpool follow closely behind with 17 points, setting the stage for an intense battle between two potential title contenders chasing Arsenal, who lead with 25 points.
For this specific Matchday, Guinness is partnering with SuperSport, the home of football, to amplify the experience. SuperSport content creators will be on site to capture every moment, ensuring fans feel every bit of the action.
According to Denise Nazzinda, Guinness Brand Manager, this weekend’s Matchday builds on the success of previous editions.
“We are delighted by how fans have embraced the movement. It shows just how much they enjoy experiencing the Premier League in a lively, social setting. This Sunday, we invite every fan to join us at Tales Bar and Lounge in Bukoto for another exciting Guinness Matchday. With our partnership with SuperSport, fans will feel closer to the action than ever,” she said.
With ecstatic football and lively in-house entertainment on the card, fans can enjoy every moment with their iconic black pints, as Guinness keeps the excitement flowing throughout the experience.
The event will also feature Matchday Minutes, where fans have the chance to win exclusive Guinness merchandise and other prizes if they make the right predictions.
Fans can look forward to a potentially pivotal Premier League Matchday, with Guinness, the official beer partner of the league, there to bring the excitement to life.
