The Bell ObaFest regional tour culminated spectacularly on Saturday night, as the party life of West Nile converged for a flavorful final stop at Capital One Lounge in the heart of Arua City, highlighting the powerful music scene in West Nile.

As the final regional stop before the Kampala finale on the 15th, the Arua pre-festival experience proved that the demand for unique enjoyments stretches to every corner of Uganda, setting a powerful precedent for the main event.

Under the evening’s cool, drizzling sky, the warmth of West Nile’s spirit proved unstoppable as enthusiastic partygoers poured into Capital One Lounge to experience the festival’s signature blend of great music, delicious Nyama Choma, and the celebrated flavour innovations: Bell Citrus and Bell Honey.

The evening was ignited with live performances, a true celebration of homegrown talent with the crowd singing word-for-word as the performers cycled on and off the stage: The melodic folksong raps of the local duo, Black Harmony captivated the audience; Eddy Topsy displayed an incredible rap range, freestyling a sample of all the languages of the region; Arua City’s very own King Weeda and D’Wyne Gabana held the crowd in the palm of their hands then FreeBoy proudly represented Yumbe, cementing the event as a celebration for the entire West Nile Region.

The evening also catered to football fans, kickstarting the evening with a heated match that captivated the crowd, their eyes glued to the screens. As the anticipation built, the energy shifted to the courtyard, where guests engaged in ring toss games, competing for the coveted delight of a Bell bottle. The air itself was thick with the irresistible aroma of roasting nyama from busy ovens and grills.

Reflecting on the success of Arua and the entire regional journey, which included celebrated stops in Gulu and Masaka, Lillian Kansiime, Brand Manager for Bell at Uganda Breweries Limited stated, “The response all over has been phenomenal. We set out to prove that Bell is the official beer of enjoyments for all of Uganda, and the people have spoken loud and clear.

Come 15th November, we are ready to cap off our nationwide flavour journey at Millennium Grounds to connect and celebrate the flavorful Ugandan music, food and of course Bell Citrus and Honey.“
